My name is Ray Carabantes, founder and creative force behind A$AP Wigs. My love for beauty started long before it became my career. As a little boy, I was already braiding my mom’s, my tías’, and my grandma’s hair. Looking back, it was never just something I enjoyed doing—it was the beginning of what I was meant to create.

In 2016, I officially entered the beauty industry as a makeup artist. By 2018, I discovered the craft that would completely change my life:hair. From that moment on, I dedicated myself to mastering wigs—from construction and customization to color, styling, and creating looks that make people feel unforgettable.

But for me, wigs have always been about more than hair. I want to redefine what wearing a wig means and normalize wigs for everyone—whether you wear one for convenience, confidence, creativity, self-expression, or simply because you want to switch it up.

Nearly a decade into my journey in beauty, A$AP Wigs is the evolution of everything I’ve learned, created, and dreamed of. Every wig is rooted in craftsmanship, artistry, and the belief that luxury hair should look incredible, feel incredible, and give you the freedom to become whoever you want to be.
